Do I need to provide my own vehicle?
No, all required training vehicles are provided and included in the course price.
What ages can attend?
This event is open to all drivers aged 16 years and older.
Will this course (4 Hours) count towards my logbook hours?
At this stage No, in Queensland, a standard defensive driving course does not count towards your learner driver logbook hours; the hours spent in a defensive driving course are not recognised by Queensland Transport as part of the required 100 hours of driving experience needed to get your provisional licence - sadly.
Can I attend if I’m on my Learner’s licence?
Yes! Learner drivers are welcome—you do not need to have passed your practical driving test to attend but you must hold a current, valid Drivers Licence or Learners Permit.
What should I wear?
All participants must wear closed shoes, and seat belts must be worn at all times.
Can I bring my parent along?
Yes, absolutely. Bringing your supervising driver or parent along for the day is a great way for them to stay involved in your learning to drive journey. They won't drive but can spectate or ride along with you as a passenger.
Are there any safety rules?
Yes, for everyone’s safety:
• Arms must be kept inside the vehicle at all times.
• No drugs or alcohol are allowed on the premises.
• No dogs or other pets are allowed inside the venue.
Are food and drinks available on-site?
No, food and drinks are not available for sale at the venue. However, there is an awesome clubhouse with seating and toilets. Please bring your own food and drinks for the day.
Can I be refused entry?
Yes. Right of admission is reserved, and staff have the right to remove any participant who does not abide by the rules—both those listed here and any additional rules communicated on the day. No refunds will be provided in such cases.
Course Cancellation Policy
Cancellations by You:
• 7+ Days Before Course: Full refund available or you may reschedule to another date.
• 48 Hours – 7 Days Before Course: No refund, but you may reschedule to another date.
• Less than 48 Hours Before Course: No refund or rescheduling. Full fee is forfeited.
• Non-Attendance: No refund.
• Late Arrivals: You will not be allowed to attend, and no refund will be provided.
Cancellations by the Provider:
• If we cancel the course, you may reschedule to another date or request a full refund.
